We got great value for our money at Cabanas Tonina Kayab. The room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony where we could relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Tonina Mayan Ruin site. The staff, especially Rosa Maria, were incredibly kind and welcoming.

Just a short walk from the magnificent Tonina archaeological site, this hidden gem of a accommodation is nestled within lush countryside. The Cabanas offer privacy and comfort, with hot water showers and clean bedding. The host, Rosa Maria, is a delight, welcoming guests with kindness and offering delicious freshly cooked food at the on-site restaurant. The setting is surrounded by colorful flowers, creating a tranquil and picturesque atmosphere. To add to the charm, there is a secret site nearby that Rosa Maria can guide you to, making for an incredible and memorable hike.

Although the location is perfect for visiting the Tonina Ruins, finding the property and picking up the keys was a bit confusing upon arrival. Additionally, the cabanas could use some improvement in terms of amenities.
